Every woman is sure to face the dilemma of whether to be a stay-at-home mom or be a working professional, at some point in her life.
Let’s hear it on which of these options is the better way to go, from a woman who has been there and done that.
We are talking about the absolutely stunning actress, Angie Harmon, whose life took an unexpected turn, when the famous ex-football player, Jason Sehorn got down on his knees and asked her to be his wife, on the ‘Tonight Show with Jay Leno’.
The wonderful couple exchanged vows on June 9th, 2001, and now, ten years later, they are blessed with three beautiful daughters – Finley, Avery and Emily.
This makes Angie one of the most appropriate people to ask the big question, about whether a mom should ideally stay back at home with the kids, or go out and carry on with her life.
To this, the actress responds that she has experienced that the grass is always greener on the other side.
When she is at home with the kids, she badly wants to have something more creative than painting a coloring book to do; and when she goes out to work, she ends up missing something as simple as packing a cheese and turkey sandwich into a lunch box, for one of the girls.
What she has learnt from her life is that it is important to appreciate what the present moment has for you.
She says that she loves having her hands full with her girls, cooking, and her hubby. She believes that she gets into trouble, whenever she is bored.
As for Jason, Angie is all praises for him, and gushes about him being a hands-on father, and the “hottest baseball player” she knows.
We just hope that this beautiful family remains happy and united forever.
